Terms and Conditions for Jill Hellyer Professional Styling Services

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of mobile hairdressing and colour stylist services by Jill Hellyer Professional Styling Services. By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking and Appointment Confirmation

2.1 All appointments must be booked in advance. Bookings can be made via phone, email, or using the online contact form.

2.2 A booking is only confirmed once the Client has received an appointment confirmation, either by email or text message.

2.3 We require at least 48 hours' notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests. Failure to provide sufficient notice the client will be required to provide an additional deposit for their next appointment. (see Section 5).

2.4 Any requests for changes to the service or the date/time of the appointment must be made at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate such changes but cannot guarantee availability.

3. Services Provided

3.1 I provide hairdressing services, including haircuts and colouring and personal colour analysis.

3.2 The services provided will be determined based on the Client's requests and hair type. We may recommend adjustments to services based on the condition of the hair or other factors for the best outcome.

3.3 I reserve the right to refuse services if the Client’s expectations are unrealistic, if the hair or scalp is in an unsuitable condition for certain treatments, or if we deem it unsafe or unfeasible to proceed.

4. Service Locations

4.1 I provide mobile hairdressing and colour styling services to your location within a specified area.

5. Fees and Payment

5.1 The Client agrees to pay the quoted price for the services rendered.

5.2 A 50% deposit will be required at the time of booking, which will be deducted from the final service price.

5.3 Payment is due upon completion of the services. I accept payment by debit or credit cards.

5.4 If the Client cancels or reschedules an appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, the client will be required to provide an additional deposit for their next appointment.

5.5 I reserve the right to increase prices due to changes in the cost of products, services, or travel. The Client will be notified of any such price changes before the appointment.

6. Client Responsibilities

6.1 The Client is responsible for ensuring that the space provided for services is safe, clean, and has adequate lighting, seating, and ventilation.

6.2 If the Client’s hair is damaged, previously treated, or in poor condition, the Client must inform us beforehand. We cannot be held responsible for any negative results from performing services on compromised hair.

6.3 It is the Client's responsibility to provide accurate information regarding their hair type, history of treatments, allergies, or sensitivities that may affect the outcome of services.

7. Client Satisfaction

7.1 I strive to provide high-quality hairdressing and colour styling services. If the Client is not satisfied with the results, please inform me within 24 hours of the appointment. I will do my best to rectify the issue.

7.2 I do not offer refunds, but I may offer a free re-do of certain services where applicable.

8. Health and Safety

8.1 I adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards. I use sanitized equipment and high-quality products to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for the Client.

8.2 If the Client feels unwell or exhibits symptoms of illness, I ask that they reschedule the appointment to a later date to protect the health of both parties.

8.3 I am not responsible for any allergic reactions or skin sensitivities caused by products used during services. If you have known allergies or sensitivities, please inform us before your appointment.

9. Liability

9.1 I am not liable for any damage to property or personal injury that occurs during the course of the service, except where such damage is caused by our negligence or failure to perform the services in accordance with standard practice.

9.2 I am not liable for any adverse outcomes arising from the Client’s choice of style or colour.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

10.1 I will respect your privacy and keep all personal and payment information confidential. I do not share or sell personal data to third parties.

10.2 By booking a service, you consent to our collection of necessary personal information for service provision, booking confirmation, and communication purposes.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing prior to your next appointment.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Surrey.
